COLOMBO (News 1st) - On June 2, 2024, an article was published on our website stating that the Marine Environment Protection Authority (MEPA) would be taking action against PetroChina due to a fuel leak.

Mclarens Holdings Limited, the authorized local agent for PetroChina International (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Sri Lanka, has brought to our attention that the leak originated onshore from a Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) /CPSTL pipeline.

PetroChina's delivery of Gas Oil to CPC in May 2024 aboard M.T. Torm Lotte was not involved
