COLOMBO(News 1st): The National Dengue Control Unit says that special dengue control programs will be implemented in the Western, Northern, and Eastern provinces on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of October.
Community medical Specialist Dr. Lahiru Kodithuvakku says that these programs will focus on areas affected by the floods.
So far this year, Sri Lanka has reported 41,128 dengue cases, with the highest number—17,472—reported from the Western Province.
Meanwhile, 20 deaths due to Dengue have also been reported.
