Fire Re-erupts At Daragalapathana Reserve in Kumbalwela

COLOMBO (News 1st) – A fire has re-erupted in the Daragalapathana Reserve in Kumbalwela, prompting renewed firefighting efforts.

Police stated that officers from the Sri Lanka Army have been deployed to assist in containing the blaze.

A fire that broke out in the reserve yesterday was brought under control after extensive efforts.

However, police said the fire started spreading again this morning, leading authorities to resume operations to contain it.
