16 Injured in Negombo Prison Clash

COLOMBO (News 1st) ; A tense situation has erupted between two groups of inmates at the Negombo Prison.

According to Police, the Police Special Task Force (STF) has also been deployed to control the situation.

Sixteen inmates who were injured during the tense situation, have been hospitalized for treatment. 

The Director of the Negombo Hospital said that the condition of one injured inmate is critical.
