Canteen Owners Announce Food Price Reduction

COLOMBO (News 1st):The All Island Canteen and Restaurant Owners Association has announced a reduction in food prices following the recent decrease in fuel and LP gas prices.

Accordingly, the revised prices will come into effect from midnight tonight.

The Association stated that the price of a cup of plain tea will be reduced by Rs. 5.

The price of a rice packet, fried rice, and kottu roti will each be reduced by Rs. 15.

Meanwhile, the prices of paratha, egg roti, and short-eats will also be reduced by Rs. 5 each.
