Only Lunar Eclipse of 2026 Visible in Sri Lanka Today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The only lunar eclipse visible to Sri Lanka for the year 2026 can be witnessed today.
Professor Chandana Jayaratne, Director of the Astronomy and Space Science Unit at the University of Colombo, says that the eclipse will be a partial lunar eclipse.
Sri Lanka will be able to observe the eclipse from 6:28 PM today.
