Facebook Party in Ambalangoda Raided, 28 Arrested with Drugs

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka Police have raided a party organized via Facebook in Ponaduwa, Ambalangoda, leading to the arrest of 28 suspects.

The arrests were made during a joint operation carried out by officers from the Ambalangoda Police and Police Special Task Force. 

During the raid, authorities recovered 225 milligrams of cocaine, 8 grams and 125 milligrams of ICE, 2 grams and 400 milligrams of cannabis, along with illegal cigarettes. 

The suspects, aged between 18 and 44, are residents of several areas including Batapola, Uragasmanhandiya, Balapitiya, Homagama, Beruwela, Ambalangoda, Meetiyagoda, Wathugedara, and Ahungalla.
