COLOMBO (News 1st): Officials of Sri Lanka Customs have arrested a passenger arriving in Sri Lanka with a consignment of Kush narcotics valued at Rs. 25.5 million, at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.
The suspect, a 33-year-old resident of Colombo, was taken into custody upon his arrival from Thailand.
According to officials, he had carefully concealed Two Kilograms and 505 grams of Kush narcotics inside his luggage, while attempting to smuggle it into the country.
