Coastal Line Train Services Limited to a Single Track After Wadduwa Derailment

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Railways says train operations on the Coastal Line will continue on a single track following the derailment of the Sagarika train at Wadduwa Railway Station yesterday. 

One of the two tracks, which was blocked due to the incident, was reopened for services yesterday, while repair work on the other line is still underway.

The Department says steps will be taken to restore full operations as soon as possible.
