Indonesian Deputy Foreign Minister Holds Bilateral Talks With Foreign Ministry Officials

COLOMBO (News 1st): Indonesian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Anis Matta, who is currently on an official visit to Sri Lanka, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath and Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra for high-level discussions.

During the meeting, Minister Vijitha Herath said that both sides exchanged views on further strengthening political, economic, cultural, and bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

He emphasized that Sri Lanka remains firmly committed to elevating its longstanding partnership with Indonesia to a higher level.

In a separate discussion between Deputy Minister Arun Hemachandra and his Indonesian counterpart, attention was drawn to the enduring friendship between the two nations, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation.
