Prisons Dept. to Re-Hire Retired Officers Under 65

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Prisons has announced that retired prison officers below the age of 65 will be re-appointed on a contract basis.

Prisons Spokesman A.C. Gajanayake said the recruitment will cover several key positions, including Class 1 Jailor, Class 2 Jailor, Sergeant, Guard, Nurse, and Pharmacist.
