New Homes for Cyclone Ditwah Victims: President Inaugurates Housing Program for Affected Families

COLOMBO(News 1st); The inaugural program to construct new houses and provide compensation for homes completely damaged by Cyclone Ditwah commenced today under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The initial events focused on new housing projects for disaster-affected residents in Galnewa, Handungama, Rajanganaya, and Sirimapura in the Anuradhapura District.

Meanwhile, the housing construction program is also being implemented in the Kurunegala District, covering the Nikaweratiya, Vithikuliya Junction, and Ridigama Dodamgaslanda areas.
