Polling Cards for 2024 Parliamentary Elections Issued from Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Election Commission has announced that the issuance of official polling cards for the 2024 Parliamentary Elections will commence tomorrow.

The official polling cards will be handed over to the postal service on the 26th of this month.

The postal voting for the Parliamentary Elections is set to begin on the 30th of this month. 

Meanwhile, the allocation of television and radio airtime for all political parties and independent groups will be determined through a draw held today at the Colombo District Secretariat.

The Election Commission has notified the secretaries of recognized political parties and the leaders of independent groups, who have submitted nominations for the Parliamentary Elections, to participate in this event.
