Police Remove 130,000 Illegal Posters and Banners

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police announced the removal of 130,000 posters and banners that were illegally displayed in relation to the upcoming General Election.
According to the Police Headquarters, 18 individuals have been arrested for violating election laws.
These arrests were made on charges including intimidation and assault.
Additionally, the Election Commission has received 401 complaints related to the General Election.
