COLOMBO (News 1st);. The Examination Department has announced a series of prohibitions related to the upcoming grade 5 scholarship examination, effective from midnight today.
Commissioner General of Examinations, Amit Jayasundara, stated that all tutoring classes, lectures, seminars, and workshops associated with the exam will be banned.
In addition to these measures, the printing and distribution of question papers containing guess questions are also prohibited.
The restrictions extend to the publication and possession of promotional materials such as posters, banners, leaflets, and content on electronic, printed, or social media platforms.
Jayasundara emphasized that any individual, organization, or party found violating these orders can be reported to the nearest police station, police headquarters, or the Examination Department.
The grade 5 scholarship examination will take place on the 15th of September.
