Sanath Nishantha's Jeep Involved in Collision

COLOMBO (News 1st);  A collision involving the jeep of State Minister Sanath Nishantha and another in the Modarawella area in Marawila this morning has left both vehicles damaged and resulted in the arrest of both drivers.

Both the Minister's jeep and the other vehicle sustained damage in the collision.

The police confirmed the arrest of both drivers involved in the accident.

The driver of the other vehicle allegedly assaulted a police officer assigned to the security detail of State Minister Nishantha, who is currently receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital.
