Kurunegala Auto Parts Shop Ravaged by Fire

COLOMBO (News 1st); A fire that broke out this afternoon (3) at a vehicle spare parts shop in Kurunegala, has been successfully brought under control, according to the Kurunegala Municipal Council Fire Brigade.

The blaze erupted around 1:50 PM and was contained by approximately 3:30 PM, thanks to the swift deployment of four fire trucks and coordinated efforts by emergency responders.

Despite the successful containment, the shop sustained significant property damage, with losses still being assessed.

Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire, and investigations are currently underway.
