Mahinda Kahandagama Remanded Until October 26

COLOMBO (News1st); Mahinda Kahandagama, former municipal councilor of the Colombo Municipal Council representing the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), has been remanded until the 26th.

This order was issued after he was produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court.

The court also ordered a fine of Rs. 15,000 to be imposed on the other individual who was arrested along with him.

Mahinda Kahandagama was recently arrested on charges of drug trafficking.

The raid was carried out following an extensive investigation based on information received by the Director of the Colombo Central Crimes Investigation Division.
