Chamara Sampath Dasanayake Appears Before Bribery Commission

COLOMBO (News 1st): Badulla District Parliamentarian Chamara Sampath Dasanayake who was summoned to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption arrived at the commission this morning (12).
The summons follows his failure to appear before the Commission last Friday (09), despite being notified to do so.
According to the Bribery Commission, the summons relates to investigations into the alleged acceptance of bribes from a phosphate company and the issuance of three mining licences.
