Extraordinary Gazette Issued Increasing Registration Fees For Companies, Societies

COLOMBO (News 1st): An extraordinary gazette notification has been issued increasing the registration fees for companies and societies.

The extraordinary gazette has been issued by the Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development, Wasantha Samarasinghe.

According to the new gazette notification, the registration fee for a private limited company has been revised to Rs. 5,200.

The registration fee for a public limited company has been revised to Rs. 26,400, and the fee for the registration of an unlimited company has been revised to Rs. 19,800.

In addition, the revised fee for approving a company name is Rs. 2,600.

The fee for registering societies has been revised to Rs. 3,900, and the fee for amending the constitution of a society has been revised to Rs. 1,900.
