SJB Pradeshiya Sabha Member Remanded Until Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): Amitha Chathuranga, a Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) member of the Ambalangoda Pradeshiya Sabha, who was arrested for the illegal possession of a firearm, has been remanded until tomorrow (13)
He was remanded after being produced before the Balapitiya Magistrate's Court today.
The MP was arrested last evening with an unlicensed repeater-type firearm found in his possession.
The raid was carried out by officers of the Galle District Crime Investigation Division.
