CIABOC Moves to Seal Key MoU with Korea's ACRC To Combat Corruption

Seoul, South Korea (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s anti-corruption watchdog has taken a significant step toward strengthening international cooperation, following bilateral discussions with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of South Korea.

Ranga Dissanayake, Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), confirmed that talks were held with ACRC officials on entering into a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions.

According to Dissanayake, both sides reached an initial agreement to proceed with drafting the MOU, signaling a shared commitment to enhancing collaboration in tackling bribery and corruption.
