Aswesuma Allowance For Over-70 Beneficiaries Credited Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Welfare Benefits Board states that the June allowance for Aswesuma beneficiaries over 70 years of age, pertaining to the first and second phases, will be credited to their bank accounts today.
The Board stated that under the first phase, nearly 3.5 billion rupees will be credited for 621,761 elderly individuals, and nearly 380 million rupees will be credited for 76,139 senior citizens under the second phase.
Accordingly, the Welfare Benefits Board stated that beneficiaries can withdraw the funds starting today.
