Bus Fares to Increase from July 1

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Transport Commission (NTC) says bus fares will be increased from July 1 in line with the annual bus fare revision.
NTC Chairman, Engineer P.A. Chandrapala, said the necessary preparations for the revision are currently underway.
He added that the percentage of the fare increase will be announced after taking into account the fuel price revision for the month of July.
