COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) states that a vessel carrying 32,000 liters of fuel is scheduled to arrive in the country this Thursday, the 2nd of April 2026.

Managing Director Mayura Neththikumara stated that the ship is carrying 32,000 liters of diesel and 8,000 metric tons of Jet A-1 aviation fuel.

Meanwhile, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation says a decision will be made today regarding the procedure to be followed for fuel issuance tomorrow. This is due to both today and tomorrow being odd-numbered dates.

Mayura Neththikumara mentioned that a discussion will be held today regarding this matter.

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation recently decided to issue fuel on even-numbered days if the last digit of the license plate is 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8, and on odd-numbered days if the last digit is 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.
