Fuel Ship with 35,000 Metric Tons Scheduled to Arrive Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A vessel carrying 35,000 metric tons of fuel is scheduled to arrive in the country tomorrow.

D.A. Rajakaruna, Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), says that the shipment contains both petrol and diesel. 

In addition to this vessel, three more fuel shipments are expected to arrive within this month.

The CPC further noted that fuel stocks required until the end of April have already been ordered. 

The Chairman added that these stocks will be purchased based on the prevailing market prices at the time of unloading.

All relevant vessels are arriving from India and Singapore.
