Minister Nalinda Jayatissa to Attend Swearing-in Ceremony of New Bangladesh Cabinet

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka's Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new Bangladeshi Cabinet, led by Tarique Rahman, today. 

Representing the government, the Minister departed for Bangladesh yesterday to participate in the event.

Bangladesh extended invitations to heads of states for 13 countries, including Sri Lanka, for the oath taking ceremony. 

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, secured a landmark victory in the recent general election.
