Mortar Shells Unearthed at House Construction Site in Kalutara

COLOMBO (News 1st); Several mortar shells have been discovered inside the premises of a house in the Perakum Mawatha area near Kalutara Central Junction.

Police said the mortar shells were found while construction work was being carried out at the residence.

Kalutara South Police stated that further investigations are underway with the assistance of the Special Task Force (STF).
