COLOMBO (News1st): The second day of the third phase of the Gammadda ‘Care and Dare’ initiative is being held today, focusing on the Nuwara Eliya and Kandy districts to rebuild and support communities affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
The first phase of the Gammadda Care & Dare operation was launched in Kotmale.
The second phase followed in the Badulla District, focusing on Passara, Madolsima, and Welimada.
Through the Care & Dare initiative, introduced to uplift communities, thousands of people have already received much-needed support and assistance.
Today, Gammadda Care and Dare will continue at Kurunduwatte Royal College, Gampola focusing on the Kandy District.
The program is conducted in collaboration with the Minderoo Foundation of Australia, one of the world's largest philanthropic organizations.
