170 kg of Heroin Destroyed in Puttalam

COLOMBO(News 1st); Authorities have taken steps to destroy 170 kilograms of heroin following the conclusion of relevant court proceedings.

Police said that the narcotics were destroyed using a high-temperature incinerator located at Lattowatte, Puttalam.

According to the Police, the destruction process was carried out in the presence of Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanka S. Bodaragama.
