President Receives New Year Blessings from Chief Prelate of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya

COLOMBO (News 1st); President Anura Kumara Dissanayake received blessings for the New Year from the Chief Prelate of the Sri Lanka Amarapura Maha Nikaya, Most Venerable Karagoda Uyangoda Maithri Murthy Thero.

The President visited the headquarters of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya in Wellawatte, where he met the Chief Prelate, inquired about his well-being and engaged in a brief discussion. 

During the visit, the Chief Prelate chanted Seth Pirith and offered his blessings to the President for the New Year.
