Vietnam Donates $5,000 for Reconstruction of Disaster-hit Buddhist Temples

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Vietnam has donated $5,000 for the reconstruction of Buddhist temples affected by recent disasters.

The Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs said the donation was handed over to Minister Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi by Vietnamese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Trinh Thi Tam.

Officials also held discussions on further developing religious and cultural ties between the two countries.
