Buses Linked to Backhoe Saman Confiscated

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police have taken two buses allegedly linked to underworld figure Backhoe Saman into custody, following a In a targeted operation led by the Western Province North Crimes Division.

One of the seized vehicles is a passenger transport bus operating on the Monaragala–Colombo route, while the other is a luxury coach used for tourist transportation, according to police sources.

Following the seizure, statements were recorded from the bus staff, who were later released.
