Police Freeze Properties of Notorious Drug Queenpin

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Illegal Assets Investigation Division has frozen three buildings in Ferguson Road, Grandpass, allegedly owned by Vindani Priyadarshika, also known as “Thotalaga Poddi Akka,” a suspected drug trafficker.

Police said the action was taken following an investigation conducted under the directive of the Inspector General of Police (IGP). 

The properties are believed to have been acquired using proceeds from large-scale narcotics trafficking.

Authorities further revealed that the suspect is currently in hiding, and efforts are underway to locate and apprehend her.
