Sri Lanka Drafts First-Ever National Heritage Policy

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Cultural Affairs has officially received the draft of Sri Lanka’s first-ever National Heritage Policy.

The draft was compiled by a committee of experts led by Dr. Gamini Wijesuriya, a respected authority in heritage conservation.

The expert committee has proposed a consultative process, where individuals with proven expertise and practical experience in heritage-related fields will be invited to submit recommendations and feedback.
