COLOMBO (News 1st): SriLankan Airlines has reported a 10% increase in passenger revenue during the first five months of the 2025-2026 financial year.
The national carrier also recorded a 22% rise in passenger numbers during the same period.
Operational efficiency of the national carrier has improved significantly, reaching 74%, up from 69% in the previous financial year.
Meanwhile, two aircraft belonging to the SriLankan Airlines that had been grounded for an extended period due to engine issues, have now returned to service.
The national carrier confirmed that another aircraft, scheduled for repairs, is expected to return to service early next year.
