Thunderstorms Expected In Several Provinces

COLOMBO(News 1st); The Department of Meteorology says a favorable atmosphere is developing for thunderstorms over the next few days.

Accordingly, thunderstorms may occur in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, and Uva provinces during the evenings.

Showers are also likely in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya districts.
