Deputy Minister of Defence Speaks On Improving the Efficiency of Clean Sri Lanka Program

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Defence has announced plans to improve the efficiency of the Clean Sri Lanka program by engaging retired tri-force officers, current members and senior citizens. 

Deputy Minister of Defence, Retd Major General Aruna Jayasekera, emphasized that awareness-raising initiatives have already begun among retired officers across the island. 

The program is being implemented through the establishment of development committees at the Grama Niladhari level.
