COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former Member of Parliament Thalatha Athukorale has been appointed as the General Secretary of the United National Party (UNP).
The appointment was made by the party leader, Ranil Wickremesinghe, and confirmed by the party chairman, Vajira Abeywardena.
