COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) has temporarily suspended the licenses of 60 pharmacies over the past five months.
CEO of the NMRA Dr. Saveen Semage said that this decision was made because the pharmacies did not have a licensed pharmacist overseeing their operations.
He emphasized that the NMRA is actively taking the necessary steps to ensure all requirements are in place before issuing the license.
