Consumer Affairs Authority Sets Maximum Retail Prices for Canned Fish

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Consumer Affairs Authority has issued an Extraordinary Gazette notification setting maximum retail prices for canned fish.
Accordingly, the maximum retail price for a 425g can of tuna fish is set at Rs. 380.
The maximum retail price for a 155g can of mackerel is set at Rs. 180.
The maximum retail price for a 425g can of jack mackerel will be Rs. 560.
The Consumer Affairs Authority has stated that these prices are effective starting today.
