Public Feedback on Proposed Electricity Tariff Revision Opens Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka will begin gathering public opinions on the proposed electricity tariff revision tomorrow. 

The opportunity to provide feedback will remain open until January 8, 2025.

Ceylon Electricity Board has recommended keeping electricity tariffs unchanged for the first six months of 2025. 

In response, the PUCSL has prepared a draft counterproposal for public review and comment.

Public can submit their opinions by emailing [email protected] or sending a message via WhatsApp to 076 427 10 30.

They can also submit feedback by visiting the Public Utilities Commission office, or by using designated locations at the provincial level.
