Over 400,000 Affected Due to Adverse Weather

COLOMBO (News 1st); The number of people affected by the adverse weather has risen to 441,590. 

The Disaster Management Center stated that 229 Divisional Secretariat Divisions in 24 districts have been affected by the adverse weather conditions.

Thirteen fatalities have been reported as a result of the adverse weather conditions.

Twenty-two people have been reported injured and one is missing.

According to the Disaster Management Center, 38,616 people have been directed to 347 relief camps. 

It added that relief efforts for the affected are ongoing.
