Train Services Disrupted Due to Efficiency Bar Examination

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Train operations have affected as several train engine operators have gone on leave to sit for an efficiency bar examination.

President of the Locomotive Operating Engineers' Union K. A Konthasinghe confirmed that this led to cancellation of several train travels yesterday. 

Efforts have been made to run inter-city and long-distance trains as per the schedules.
