CEB to Submit Revised Electricity Tariff Proposals to PUCSL Next Week

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that proposals to reduce electricity tariffs will be submitted to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) by next week.

CEB's spokesperson, Dhanushka Parakramasinghe, said that previous proposals to reduce electricity tariffs had already been presented to the PUCSL, however, the commission had requested that the proposals be revised and resubmitted by the November 08.

In response, the CEB had requested for an additional two weeks to submit the new proposal along with the necessary adjustments and calculation revisions.

According to the spokesperson of the CEB, the revised proposals for new electricity tariffs will be submitted to the PUCSL next week.
