51-Year-Old Man Arrested at Katunayake Airport with 5kg 26g of ICE

COLOMBO (News 1st): A person returning to Sri Lanka from Malaysia has been arrested by the police narcotics bureau at the Katunayake International Airport for the possession of the narcotic substance known as ICE.

5kg and 26 grams of narcotics were found in the possession of the 51 year old suspect. 

He is a resident of Gothatuwa.

Two others who were arrived at the airport to escort the suspect were also arrested on charges of aiding and abetting. 

These two suspects are residents Waboda and Wadduwa.
