Arjun Aloysius Sentenced for VAT Evasion

COLOMBO (News 1st); W. M. Mendis and Company, Director Arjun Aloysius was sentenced to six months in prison for evading VAT payments amounting to Rs. 3.5 billion.
Two others were also sentenced to six months in prison for evading VAT payments.
The sentence was delivered by Colombo Additional Magistrate, Bandara Ilangasinghe.
