Written Permission Required to Use Prime Minister's and Ministers' Images and Messages

COLOMBO (News 1st) - It has been announced that prior written permission is now required for the use of photos and messages of the Prime Minister and ministers at functions organized by government institutions. 

This directive, communicated by Prime Minister's Secretary Pradeep Saputhanthri to heads of government institutions, aims to ensure optimal utilization of public funds and adherence to government policies.

To use images and messages of the Prime Minister, written permission must be obtained from the Prime Minister's Office.

Additionally, permission for the use of ministers' content should be secured from the relevant ministry.
