Census of Population & Housing to Begin Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): The collection of personal and housing information for the 15th Census of Population and Housing in Sri Lanka is set to begin tomorrow.

According to Director General of the Department of Census and Statistics Anoja Senavirathna, census officials will be visiting households across the country to collect vital data.

She highlighted that recent assessments show a significant 24% increase in housing units compared to the figures from the 2012 census.
