Rising Complaints Ahead Of Presidential Election

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police reported receiving 43 complaints related to the ongoing presidential election.
Among these, 14 complaints pertain to acts of violence, while 29 are related to violations of election laws.
The Election Commission has noted a rapid increase in complaints regarding election law violations.
To date, the Commission has received a total of 925 complaints, with 901 specifically concerning violations of election laws.
